Marco’s post on alternate side street parking in NYC reminded me of this classic Seinfeld episode.

Seinfeld as a Reference Guide
I consider myself to be a Seinfeld aficionado.
I am now in posession of every episode of Seinfeld on DVD. I view these DVDs as a reference guide more than anything else. How many times have I thought of an episode and wanted to share it with someone else? Lots. Now I can.
As an example, Tamar was in the market for new checks. I explained that she should be careful about which checks she chooses as Jerry once had the misfortune of bouncing a clown-with-balloons style check which was then posted in the local bodega for all to see and mock.
Unfortunately, I’m not a very good story teller. But now, thanks to my new reference set, I was able to easily find the episode (“The Little Jerry”) and teach Tamar about the importance of choosing the right check style.
