I always get a kick out of this guy who sells peelers at the Green Market. He’s 74, has a British accent and is always impeccably dressed. Also, the peelers are great. I bought one for $5 a year ago and it hasn’t let me down.
I did a little research (i.e. Google) and found out that his name is Joseph Ades and he seems to do pretty well for himself. Here’s an article about him from Vanity Fair and here’s a video about him from the NY Post.
