President Obama’s Oval Office
The NYT looks at the redesign of the Oval Office and asked decorators for their feedback. A couple of them took issue with the fruit bowl on the coffee table:
Not sure I love the bowl of fruit — apples? — instead of flowers. Do we really believe that any head of state, dignitary or staff member is going to help themselves to an apple while meeting with the President? Besides, what would you do with the core when you were finished?
